Elf Beads

It is a tradition among many Sylvan Clans on the mainland to use hair beads to recognize and honor clanmates for brave deeds and exceptional service. ELF brings this tradition to Puddleby by awarding its most active members with leaf shaped beads.

In addition to looking pretty, the beads are used in a friendly competition, that runs from zodiac to zodiac, to encourage participation in the clan. Each bead is valued at a different ammount of points, and at the end of the zodiac, the member with the most points wins a prize. No member can win two contests consecutively, and points do not carry over from previous zodiacs.

Fleming is the final arbiter in all contests.

	Turquoise Leaf(1 point) Turquoise Leaves are made from the colored glass found near the Campfire. Tuquoise Leaves are awarded for the smallest contributions to the clan, and are the most common beads awarded. One can be awarded a turquiose bead for doing the following: - Posting a comment on the blog(up to 10) - Uploading a tree image(up to 15) - Posting on the campfire(up to 20)
	Ruby Leaf(3 points) Ruby Leaves are carved from the rare ruby chips found on Melabrion's Isle. Ruby Leaves are given to members who actively participate in the clan. One can be awarded a ruby bead for doing the following: - Attending a clan meeting - Being kwil'dan at a clan meeting - Writing a lymmerick for a clanmate(up to 5)
	Topaz Leaf(5 points) Topaz Leaves are sculpted from the topaz crystals found deep beneath Kizmia's Isle. These beautiful beads are awarded only for exceptional service to the clan. One can be awarded a topaz bead for doing the following: - Attending a clan event - Posting an entry on the blog
	Emerald Leaf(20 points) Emerald Leaves are the highest beads awarded to members of E'las Loth'mon Ferindril. These beads, made from the finest emeralds, are awarded only to dedicated members who put in the effort to organize events for the fun and glory of the clan.
