Flower Ball
These pages are an archive of the first A'viva Fen'bril (Spring Festival) held in Puddleby. ELF would like to thank all exiles who took part!

Some member reactions after holding the festival:
Wow, the flower ball was great!
Music, drinks, food, and.... the bonfire!
I'm glad everyone who made it could come. It was a blast. Especially
that bonfire... biggest fire I've ever seen!
All that work to get it going... all that work to enjoy it.
And congrats to Ruen, who made bard quester shortly before the Ball
itself!
-Xepel, Aqua-Sylvan.
Incredible. That's all I can say about the Festival... simply
incredible. From the Tournament to the Feast Hunt to the
Dancing Lessons to the Flower Ball, the Spring Festival was a
huge success. Nearly 100 exiles participated in the Ball alone.
Wow.
Much good karma to the people who hammered out the details
of the Flower Ball today. I kind of got caught up in the whole Bard
audition thing, and couldn't help out. Also tan'ki to our great
Bards Xepel and Ayella... the music was fantastic! And thanks to
Anfyr who organized the dances and announced all the
couples(even though she got my date's title wrong!).
I just went through a couple visionstones of the Ball and noticed
that I missed a bunch of sunstone messages... sorry. I didn't
mean to ignore anyone, but my date and I were really caught up
in trying to get our dances straight. I also just noticed that we
caused a small scale environmental disaster in N Field :p We'll
have to watch out for that next time.
Once again, the Festival was fantastic, especially considering
how little time we had to plan and organize everything. We'll
definately have to try that again some time... with a bit more
planning! A'viva Fen'bril! Tav'riel Ferindril!
-Lundar
It was amazing! Ta'nki so much for allowing me to be a part of it! I
hope that the music was appreciated, even if it WAS mostly Xeppy
playing! *grins*
The bonfire was amazing, yay for GM intervention! Whoever came up with
the idea for announcing couples; brilliant! Very cute, and very
ball-ish. You should all be proud, it was amazing!
--- Ayella Sh'iale
Yei, Tan'ki all who helped, I think it was a huge success as well.
Pretty much everything was amazing, the pomp, the excellent music and
lots of dancing, large crowds, and plenty of people chipping in with
beer and food. The bonfire and zu field were great as well. I think we
covered the entire north field with zu! Now if next time we can convice
people to not play in the fire....
Tan'ki again to Ruen for the nice dance too ;-) It was great to do a
dance where did not feel like I was going to fall or hurt myself! Also,
I feel so famous with a dance named after me! ;-)
Veq..
I'm so proud of everyone who pitched in to make the festival a far
greater success than I ever imagined it could be. Lundar for getting
the whole thing set in motion, organizing a great chain hunt (which
should be made a new Dun'ilsar event for sure....), and making
webscrolls. Xepel for being the Marshall at the Grand Tournament and
playing all night at the festival. Yazza for the great story of the
night flower and arranging for refreshments (Do we owe Elron some money
for his kegs?). Anfyr for running the dancing and announcements at the
festival. Ruen and Lundar for the fantastic dances (A'viva!). Ayella
for the music and helping write the history. Veq for writing, clearing
dead folks at the tourney, and rescuing wayward clan members.
And I'd like to thank all of the members and hopefuls who couldn't be
there -- but helped with ideas at the meetings beforehand. This was
truly one of the finest moments of our clan. I'll try to fix up the
scrolls so they are a fitting memory of the event and an inspiration
for the future.
Anyone have _another_ crazy idea for the next clan meeting?
Tav'riel Ferindril!
